How I Automated 10 Hours/Week of Manual Reporting for an Ad Network
Most ad networks waste countless hours on manual reporting. My client, was spending 10+ hours every week copy-pasting data from Google Ad Manager into spreadsheets, creating individual reports for each of their 5 publishers, answering "where's my data?" emails, and manually calculating commission splits. I built them an automated dashboard system with three components:
1. Publisher Dashboard (Looker Studio)
Each publisher sees their performance metrics: impressions, clicks, revenue, eCPM, CTR. Updates automatically from Google Sheets. Real-time data, no manual work.
2. Owner Dashboard (Looker Studio)
The network owner sees all publishers in one view. Financial tracking showing commission vs publisher payouts. Filterable by publisher, product, and date range.
3. Login Portal (Custom HTML/JS)
Each publisher gets unique credentials. They log in, see only their data. Secure, professional, hosted free on Cloudflare Pages.
